I have been working with children since I was a mothers helper in middle school. I began nannying for a family in 2004 and was with them until 2012 when I moved to Seattle. I nannied for various other families as well during that time including for a young boy with juvenile diabetes and learned a great deal about that. From 2005-2010 I attended college and graduated with a degree in Middle School Education. I have completed my communication and literacy MTEL's and taken a couple graduate courses towards a degree in special ed. After graduating I worked as a special ed. paraprofessional in a kindergarten and preschool as well as teaching in my own pre-k classroom in 2012 until my now fiancé and I moved to Seattle.
