My name is Valerie Tessier and I have always been passionate about working with children. I started babysitting when I was thirteen years old. I As I grew older I knew I wanted a career that included working with children. To pursue my goals I attended Fitchburg State College and earned my Bachelor's degree as an elementary teacher. While I was in college I worked as a Pre-K teacher at Next Generation Childcare Centers. I am currently a third grade elementary school teacher at Page Hilltop School in Ayer. This is my sixth year working at Page Hilltop. I taught Kindergarten, first grade, and third grade. I also continued my education while working at Page Hilltop and received my Master's Degree in elementary education. I love teaching and it's rewarding experience.
