Hello, My name is Jessica Lops, I currently work part-time as a Substitute ParaEducator for Marlborough Public Schools. Im hoping to secure a position that will help me supplement more hours so I can gain better financial security. A couple years ago I enrolled in school to pursue my Bachelor's of Science in Behavioral Health with an Emphasis in Childhood and Adolescence Disorders. However, recently I switched my major and I'm currently pursuing my Bachelor's of Science in General Psychology. My anticipated graduation date is Dec. 17, 2023. Ultimately my goal is to become a Therapist focusing on working with Children and Adolescence. I have an 11 year old son whom is Mildly Autistic with Developmental and Neurological Delays, so I understand the importance of finding a care provider that can cater to your child's needs. I have always enjoyed working with children since I was in Middle School, which Read more is why I've decided to combine that joy with my passion for the science and psychology of the human mind. A few words that I feel best describe my personality are caring, responsible, respectful, honest, observant, detailed oriented, patient, calm, and creative. Another thing I am passionate about is the various forms of art. I attended a Technical High School and majored in Graphic Design. This is something I still enjoy doing on my spare time. I do have my own car and it's reliable transportation. I am comfortable working with most dogs, unfortunately I'm allergic to cats so I couldn't work a cat in the household. At this moment I'm available Mon, Wed, Thursday and, Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm. I could potentially be available for weekends and additional hours during the week. However, some accommodations might be required for me to do so. I am more than willing to do a background check in order to ease the family/employer's security.
