Hello, My name is Jessica Lops, and I am a preschool teacher with over 15 years of experience caring for children. For more than a decade, I have been dedicated to nurturing children’s growth while providing families with dependable, high-quality care. I have completed Early Childhood Education (ECE) coursework, hold First Aid and CPR certifications, and am ECE Teacher certified. I have experience working with children of varying ages, including children with special needs, and I am comfortable caring for up to three children at a time. I am patient, creative, approachable, and enjoy engaging children through outdoor play, puzzles, crafts, and educational activities. I value clear communication and always follow parents’ household guidelines, providing regular updates to ensure everyone feels informed and comfortable. In addition to childcare, I am happy to assist with cooking, light housekeeping, carpooling, travel support, and creative projects. Making a positive difference in a child’s Read more life brings me genuine joy, and I truly enjoy building meaningful connections with families. I am also a parent to a 16-year-old son who is mildly autistic with developmental and neurological delays, which has deepened my understanding of the importance of individualized care, patience, and consistency. I have always loved working with children, beginning in middle school, and would describe myself as caring, responsible, respectful, honest, detail-oriented, calm, observant, and creative. Creativity plays a big role in my life — I attended a technical high school where I majored in Graphic Design, and I continue to enjoy art and design in my spare time. I have reliable transportation and am comfortable working in homes with dogs; however, I am allergic to cats. Currently, I am available Thursdays and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with potential availability for weekends and additional weekday hours as needed (some accommodations may apply). I am more than willing to complete a background check for peace of mind. If you feel I may be a good fit for your family, I would love to connect. Please feel free to reach out at any time. I look forward to hearing from you.
