Hi! My name is Marcus Montagnino, and I’m a responsible, patient, and easy-going person with a strong background in working with kids across a variety of settings—from summer camps to athletic training to regular babysitting. I’m 23 years old and currently a student-athlete on the men’s basketball team at Endicott College, where I’m pursuing my Master’s in Sport Leadership. Before that, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Xavier University. I’m now looking for a reliable and flexible part-time babysitting job that allows me to continue doing something I love—helping kids grow, stay active, and enjoy learning new things. I’ve gained hands-on experience with children through several meaningful roles. At the Gloucester YMCA, I worked as a Summer Sports Camp Counselor, leading groups of 15–25 children in games, sports, and team-building activities. I made sure every child felt safe, included, and confident while keeping the environment fun and Read more positive. I worked with kids of all ages and feel very comfortable adapting to different needs and personalities. More recently, I’ve been a Basketball Trainer for Elevate Academy, where I’ve coached athletes ranging from middle schoolers to college players. Alongside that, I’ve also spent plenty of time babysitting for family members, which has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and being a dependable presence. I’d love the opportunity to bring my energy, experience, and care to your family. I pride myself on being someone kids enjoy spending time with and parents can count on, and I feel like I have always done a good job with this. My experiences working with children in a variety of contexts, such as camps, sports programs, and team environments, have given me what I believe to be great communication abilities. I understand how to listen to children's needs, speak to them in a straightforward and encouraging manner, and keep lines of communication open with parents to make sure everyone is informed and at ease.
