I have been around children of all ages since I was a child myself, due to the fact that my mom runs childcare out of our home. I started off as a "mother's helper" when I was 11 years old and eventually started babysitting at age 12. I have been involved in childcare ever since; anything from a few hours to having children for the entire weekend. Taking care of children is not my only passion; I have also been able to gain experience as a doula, animal care taker, and house sitter (so references are abundant). I am currently in my junior year of college and I'm taking classes toward my Bachelors Degree in social work. This spring I made the decision to take a semester off from academic work to work on internships and volunteer work within the social work field.
