Hello, my name is Ally. I was born and raised outside Boston, MA before I headed South to trade those long winters for palm trees and cacti. I have been working in some form of childcare for over 15 years, including 5 years as a full-time Nanny, it has given me the experience and knowledge to watch infants and children of all ages. I have a bachelor's degree in theater and love singing and dancing with the children I care for. Having worked as an English as a Foreign Language Teacher, Substitute Teacher and Reading Interventionist I love to incorporate academics into fun age appropriate games and activities. In addition to academics I work hard to foster independence, confidence, creativity and respect into the children I care for. Back in Cape Cod for the summer, I would like to spend my time babysitting and even being a part-time nanny. Babysitting since I was 12 years old has given me the experience and knowledge to watch infants and children of all ages. Working as a camp counselor gave me the confidence to watch large groups of children, which would be helpful in watching children along with their friends and relatives. I am a certified lifeguard and have worked on beaches for three summers. I am very comfortable accompanying children to the beach, and have the skill to handle any emergency. My experience also consist of being a substitute teacher and tutor. I would love to incorporate fun learning in everyday life with the children I work with. As a child, I loved spending my summers in Cape Cod and fondly remember all of the wonderful activities that there are for children. I am fun, loving, and creative and can provide your children with ample amounts of activities and fun.
