When I graduated pre-school, I told my friend Julia that one day, when I was old enough, of course, I would come back to the daycare and work there as a high school assistant. To no one's surprise, Julia and I both applied to Building Blocks Academy the minute we turned 16. I worked in the infant room throughout high school and also floated to the other daycare classrooms when they needed me to. I loved every minute of that job. From rocking a sleepy baby to sleep to changing their diapers when they woke up, being at the daycare was always a highlight of my day. I have also babysat children since I was 12 and love being with kids. I bring a lot of energy to the job and I have a lot of fun with the kids I babysit.
