Hi! My name is Amanda and I live in Jamaica Plain. During the school year, I am a special education paraprofessional. There, I have worked with students with behavioral, academic, and physical difficulties. I have been working with kids since I was in high school, spending 4 years as a camp counselor as well as babysitting throughout that time. I also tutored students at the local elementary school near my college and taught art classes part-time at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. I spend my downtime writing, baking, and playing with my dog. I am CPR and First-Aid certified and a non-smoker. I have my own car with a clean driving record. Deciding to work with children was one of the best decisions I have ever made- I truly cannot see myself in any other career field. I look forward to speaking with you!
