I have been babysitting here and there since I was a teenager. As an adult, I had been in the banking industry for many years, I decided to leave to attend college full time to try and get a degree in psychology, (degree still unfinished :( ). It was during a course in Child Psychology that I discovered I loved working with children and decided to do it professionally. I had completed a practicum at The Wonder Years daycare center working with Preschool and school-aged children. Since then, I have worked in day care centers as a Teacher. Due to my education and experience, I became certified by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. I am also certified in Pediatric and Adult First Aid and CPR. I truly love the innocence and fun that surrounds working with children. I enjoy reading to children as I believe it helps Read more with expanding vocabulary and teaches them something about their world. I love the imagination that children possess and the questions they ask. I feel fortunate knowing that I can help children grow and learn by passing my knowledge onto them. I do not have children of my own, but I am married and am very maternal in my instincts. I am a truly caring and kind caregiver and would treat your children as my own.
