Childcare Experience (detailed):  I am from Ludlow, Massachusetts and I would always watch children in the surrounding area, I would mostly babysit children from friends and family members. Besides that I have a lot of experience at Camps. Every summer for the past five years I have worked at summer camps. Some of them were overnight camps and some were day camps. At the overnight camp, I would be with all different ages of children throughout the day, I would teach them out to make clay sculptures and other types of arts and crafts and let them be very creative. At night, I would help them all get ready for bed and tell stories to help them fall asleep. The last day camp I worked at was here in Colorado called Avid4Adventure. This camp was all about teaching kids about the wonders of being outside. I would play fun games Read more with children all day while teaching them the importance of the environment around them. Ages Experienced/Comfortable Sitting: I am comfortable sitting 2 and up. I have had some experience babysitting infants but not as much as with older children.       Why do you like Children:       Children are lovely and extremely adorable. I always loved being around children and I feel I have this certain connection with them because they always attracted to be around me. I love the feeling I get when I know I can make a child smile and have fun with me. I love watching them grow and discover new things. This is one of the reasons I like teaching so much. I believe children are more fun to be around then most people I meet my age. I would rather sit at the kids table than the adults. Kids are just awesome.
