Marcela has been the best nanny for our 8 month old son - she is very patient with him, she plays with him all day, sings to him, and she was able to connect with him from day 1. She is truly reliable, very friendly and professional. We are very happy to have hired Marcela and would recommend her to all parents.

My husband and I hired Naiana to be a nanny for our 4month old right as I was returning to work after Maternity Leave. It was an anxious time for me, but I felt so reassured with Naiana! She is wonderful with babies and Sophia immediately felt comfortable with her. She has aided in Sophia’s development through play, singing, sleep training and movement. In the early days she was so good at getting Sophia down for a nap and feeding her bottles when she would only take bottles from my husband and I. She also would wash bottles and fold the baby’s laundry while Sophia was napping, which was such an amazing help to me. Now that Sophia is 9months old, I can see the love that Sophia has for Naiana, as every morning Sophia has the biggest smile as soon as Naiana walks in the door! I strongly recommend hiring Naiana and I feel so lucky to have her as a part of Sophia’s life!

Alex was super professional from our first conversation on. She made the process really easy and asked great questions that assured me she would keep our toddler safe. Alex did great with bedtime even though our daughter is still working on independent sleep and needed some support. We got cute pictures throughout the night, too!

Hello! My name is Salimah. I have worked on and off in childcare for about 10 years. My experience includes working with infants, toddlers, and school aged children. My most extensive experience has been with infants and toddlers. My formal experience includes working in a daycare setting, home daycare, and most recently (before my temporary move out of state) working for a larger Childcare Agency that serves families in and around the Boston Area who are in need of last minute reliable childcare. I pride myself in my gentle and nurturing approach to childcare, along with patience, as I understand the transition period as a child adjust to being cared for by someone who they are unfamiliar with. Some of the duties I provide as an experienced caregiver includes: Supporting children's emotional and social development by guiding children through engaging and productive activities to a foster fun learning environment, whilst using positive reinforcement and behavior modeling.Open and clear communication with parents about daily activities, behaviors, and meals/sleep logs.Organized and planned age-appropriate reading, crafts and other engaging activities to encourage creativity and expression. Sanitized toys and tables to maintain a clean, safe environment. In my free time, I enjoy spending time in nature, reading , sewing, studying herbalism, gardening, and traveling. I am available to provide both long term and short term care for families. I’m looking forward to finding the next family that I’ll be working with, whether it be short term, long-term, or just a one-time booking. It’s important that we both feel we’re the right match for one another, so I appreciate you taking the time to read through my bio. I hope to connect soon!

I would like to have it noted that Salimah is an awesome nanny/babysitter! We are so pleased with everything she has done for our nine year old while watching him recently. She was able to really keep our son focused on fun, learning activities, games, drawing, some creative cooking. Things that were not just video game oriented. She was able to limit that which was great. And we just couldn't be happier with her attitude, her punctuality and flexibility. I highly recommend her as a babysitter.

Alli has been an absolute godsend to our family. When my husband and I moved to Concord at the tail end of the COVID pandemic, we were overwhelmed with the challenge of finding reliable childcare. I had just returned to work after maternity leave with our second child, and Alli was able to step in seamlessly from day one. It quickly became clear that Alli’s superpower is working with children. Our two-year-old son and three-month-old daughter connected with her immediately. She handled early challenges—like our daughter refusing bottles—with calm confidence and patience, all while navigating a full-time, work-from-home household. Remarkably, our daughter began taking bottles on Alli’s very first day. Over the past four years, Alli has truly become part of our family. She has supported our children through every stage of their development with thoughtfulness and care. From managing nap schedules (and sleep regressions) to guiding potty training, school pickups and drop-offs, and helping build early reading and math skills, Alli approaches every aspect of her role with intention. She consistently creates engaging, age-appropriate activities and makes it a priority to get the kids outside and active in all seasons. She is more than just a caretaker; she is a teacher and friend. What sets Alli apart most is her deep commitment to the children in her care. Our son has severe food allergies, and Alli has always been exceptionally diligent—carefully managing his meals and ensuring his EpiPen is always on hand. She is a fierce advocate for our children’s safety and well-being, and we have complete trust and peace of mind when they are with her. As our youngest begins school, we are sadly transitioning away from full-time care. We cannot recommend Alli highly enough—she brings warmth, reliability, and a rare level of dedication that will be deeply missed by our family.

I have been working in childcare since 2017, primarily in center-based environments, where I have held lead teacher positions throughout my career. Working with children has always been something I’m deeply passionate about, and I have experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to school-aged children. In addition to my childcare background, I took some time to expand my professional experience by working as a retail technology manager on Newbury Street in Boston. That role strengthened my leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, all of which I bring into my work with children and families. After stepping away to enjoy maternity leave with my own baby, I am now looking for a wonderful family to support through babysitting or nannying. Ideally, I’m seeking a position that would allow me to bring my child along two days per week as part of the schedule. I understand the importance of creating a safe, nurturing, engaging, and dependable environment for children, and I strive to build strong, trusting relationships with both kids and parents alike. I am caring, patient, reliable, and experienced, and I truly enjoy helping children learn, grow, and thrive.
