Hi! My name is Alynah, and I’m a 4th-year medical student. I recently moved to Boston to work at Harvard/BIDMC on a research fellowship prior to graduating with my MD. I am well-trained to handle various situations and am certified in BLS, CPR, and First Aid. As the oldest of four children and 26 grandchildren, I have spent much of my life watching, feeding, cleaning up after, playing with, and teaching kids of all ages. Since joining Sittercity, I have babysat 14 children between 10 months and 10 years and had a blast every time! During undergrad, I spent two years working with individuals with disabilities on college-level coursework, job applications, and social activities. Hi. I'm a social worker and I am available over the upcoming Thanksgiving vacation. I thoroughly enjoy being with kids, infants included, and they seem to enjoy being with me as well I have experience through the full range from infants to teens, special needs as well. I'm reliable, responsible, with lots of common sense.I have a reliable car and am a good driver. School: studied with Piaget, child development, infant language acquisition. Love playing board games, reading to kids, helping with homework... scooting around with littler ones and making up games. I'm a tennis player, swimmer, used to shooting baskets, riding bikes, practicing soccer, batting as well...pretend, dress-up, crafts and shuttling kids "around town". I have a good sense of humor and fun and am easy with kids pushing the limits with babysitters...to a certain extent (e.g. bedtimes, # books, TV/computer.)
