I am currently a Crisis aid for a theraputic behavioral school. I ocasionally work at the YWCA. I work with children of all ages. I am CPR and first aid certified. Through working with the school and YWCA I have learned how to properly take care of children, from cleaning up to homework to teaching them coping skills so they can calm themselves down when upset. I like to regularly check in with parents and let them know how their child has been. If there has been any improvement in something we've been working in, if the child gets hurt (I've learned it's inevitable, you just have to make sure you're keeping a close watch), also any mood or behavioral changes if requested by the parent.
