I am the oldest of five children, so childcare comes naturally to me! I am fun and outgoing and I love being around kids. I currently work at the Boys and Girls Club teaching poetry to third- and fourth-graders two days a week. I have been trained in CPR and first aid and currently own: one dog (a pitbull/ chocolate lab mix), four cats, two birds, and four guinea pigs, so I am used to being around animals. I love playing board games and I have a mild temper. I currently do not own a cellphone/ iPad/ portable electronic device which may otherwise pose a distraction, so you can rest assured knowing that I will be watching your child from the second you leave to when you come back. I am also a decent cook and I love baking, and I have experience with convincing picky eaters to eat. I Read more am skilled at cleaning and sewing as well. I am currently saving up for a car, so I will not be able to go to appointments or anything that would be out of walking distance until then. I have never been in trouble with the law or at school. I plan on getting a background check as soon as I can afford one.
