Hello! I love kids and have been working with them for over 12 years. I am able to meet kids where they are at and really hear them. There is nothing I enjoy more than learning of their wise, intuitive insight of the world. Through connection and communication (if applicable/old enough), I allow children the space to be themselves and learn of their true nature. I am marveled by babies, toddlers and kids. I always have been and, even with my own daughter, I continue to be. The energetic flow and awe of childhood is a precious time and I want to help families embrace and cherish this time. I have babysat for numerous families throughout the Boston area. I started babysitting when I was 11 for neighborhood kids. I nannied two families in high school. I moved to Boulder, Co for school and worked at a daycare there. When Read more I came back to Boston I nannied 3 sisters (4, 7, 8 years) for a summer. The next year I worked at a preschool in Quincy as a teacher's assistant. I skipped a few years of working with children and worked at a coffee shop and went back to college. I took over a friend's nannying gig one summer which led me to the two families I have listed on my resume. I have been with one of those families since. I became certified to teach children's yoga within this time frame and worked at a family yoga studio in Quincy. At this studio I supervised the kids play room/ entertained children of all ages. And, of course, I taught yoga to all ages (5 weeks- 16 years). All of this ended abruptly when COVID hit. I currently teach backyard yoga to a group of neighborhood friends in Milton each week. **edited: This past year, during the pandemic, I have had the pleasure of homeschooling and nannying a family of 3 (8,6,4yrs). They are all going back to school in the Fall. I am good with all ages. Having a child of my own has led me to become even better of a nanny/caregiver. I have a 2 year old daughter who will be accompanying me two days of the week that she is not in school or with her grandparents. She’s easy and well behaved. She came with me to my other nanny jobs before COVID hit and it was a great experience for everyone. Hoping to find someone with one child or two who could benefit from this added social interactions with my daughter. Really hoping to become close with a family like I have in the past, and having our kids become buddies! I am available at the beginning of September 2021.
