I am originally from Nantucket. I grew up there and attended school there. I currently attend grad school at McNeese State University where I teach freshmen English. I have been babysitting since I was about 12 years old. I've worked as a nanny for several summers on Nantucket and have volunteered at the Nantucket STAR Program. Before going to grad school (but after undergrad), I spent 2 years working at the Maria Mitchell Association. I love babysitting/nannying on Nantucket in particular because it is the place I grew up and I love sharing the fun and adventure of the island with children. I love playing outside, reading with them, and doing arts and crafts. I also think it's important for parents to get out and have fun on their own so I like helping to make that possible.
