I first realized my passion for working with children at a young age. At 13 years old I worked with children with intellectual disabilities at a church volunteer group. Since then I have babysat and nannied for several years before starting my teaching career as a Preschool teacher and Pre-K teacher at daycares as a certified child care educator. While teaching I was able to educate and engage with children in various age groups gaining the essential skills in promoting a child's psychological and social development. When working with children I was able to create fun activities that fostered a passion for learning while having fun in the classroom. I believe it is necessary for a child to have fun while expressing their unique self in order to discover a love for learning.
