I was born and raised in Germany (dual citizenship), and moved to the U.S. to attend Syracuse University. After college, I moved to NYC and worked as a Talent Development/Client Success Manager for a couple of years. As time passed, I finally decided to pursue my true passion, teaching. I am currently in grad school and I am working on a dual degree in education and special education. I consider myself very outdoorsy, and think it's important to take advantage of this beautiful city. I am also a creative person, so art and DIY projects have been a great outlet and passion. I am now 26 years old and have a great passion for children. In addition to being a camp counselor for years where I'd be responsible for the "Mini Group" (children between the ages of 2-5 years), I grew up with four sisters - two older, and two Read more younger. The two younger ones are significantly younger than me (one being 8 years, the other 22 years younger) and therefore I have spent a lot of time babysitting and caring for my siblings. Often I'd watch over them for two consecutive weeks in a row when my parents left for work or holidays. That said, I enjoy sharing my love of the outdoors and creativity/art with kids. I have over eighteen years of experience including babysitting and being a camp counselor. I think it's important to provide children with a fun, fulfilling and enriched environment. I am an enthusiastic and responsible person and look forward to meeting you and your kids!
