Hello all!! I am Tamera Thatcher and I am a 23 year old female who currently lives in Newton, MA. I grew up in Natick for most of my life and attended school here, and I now work at Natick High School in the sub-separate ACCESS program! I have always had a love for caretaking- I grew up babysitting my neighbors kids when I was old enough to gain experience, and shortly after, started babysitting seriously when I turned 13. I have since then had a number of families i've cared for. I have babysat for date nights, after school care, overnights for a family that would take trips and need child care, etc. I worked at a daycare in 2019, and started working at our town camp, Woodtrail as a counselor in the summer of 2019. I have been Working at Woodtrail for the past 3 summers and I Read more love it so much! It is truly my happy place. I started working for NPS in the fall of 2019 at Wilson Middle School, and then moved up to the High School in 2020. I will be finishing my 3rd year in NPS this summer and plan on continuing this path until I go back to school and get my degree in special education! A little about my personality: I am outgoing and understanding, and have a lot of patience for our younger friends! I am super silly, I love music, the outdoors, and I love to explore new things! I am all about encouraging independence and promoting new learning experiences everyday, and would love to continue to do that as a part time babysitter for you!
