Hi! My name is Alynah, and I’m a 4th-year medical student. I recently moved to Boston to work at Harvard/BIDMC on a research fellowship prior to graduating with my MD. I am well-trained to handle various situations and am certified in BLS, CPR, and First Aid. As the oldest of four children and 26 grandchildren, I have spent much of my life watching, feeding, cleaning up after, playing with, and teaching kids of all ages. I was employed for one year in high school, caring for a 4-year-old and a 13-month-old toddler. Since then, I have held several jobs, including working with children of all ages, and volunteering at daycares in my free time during my undergraduate studies. Additionally, during undergrad, I spent two years working with individuals with disabilities on college-level coursework, job applications, and social activities. I genuinely enjoy spending time with young people from all backgrounds. Being Read more away from home makes me miss connecting with children, so hanging out with your kiddos in my free time would help Boston feel more like home. I have a car and am willing to drop off and pick up kids from extracurricular activities, help with homework, cook meals, run small errands, and more, as long as the tasks are clearly defined and agreed upon beforehand.
