I am a proud mother of 5 (ages 17-24) and grandmother of two beautiful granddaughters, Lily-3 and Aislinne-8 months. I own my own photography business that I enjoy doing part-time. I have experience with all ages of children and needs. For 11 years I worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant with the geriatric population. I then worked, as a Behavioral Specialist, one on one with teenage children on the autism spectrum. We went into the community to help them build socialization skills and I have done respite work for mentally challenged adults throughout my life. I volunteered for 2 years for the HeadStart program and have been a back up babysitter for many people throughout the years. The profile set up would only allow for 2 references but I can provide several more if you would like. The past year and a half I was working with a 54 year Read more old paralyzed man in his home to help with cooking, cleaning and hygiene needs. I now watch my 3 year old granddaughter 3-4 times a week and my 8 mos old granddaughter 2-3 times a week. We enjoy doing all kinds of activities like arts & crafts, trips to the zoo, parks and playgrounds, movies and anything else I can find to get the kids involved. I do have everything needed at my home to care for any age child including high chair, crib, car seats, pack n play, changing table, swing, age level appropriate toys for ages 0-7, bicycles, swimming pool, etc and a large fenced in yard that has an outside play area. I am not opposed to babysitting at your home if I were able to bring along my granddaughters along if necessary. I can start June 8th and the hourly rate would be $10/hr in my home and $12/hr in your home. Thank you for considering me as a possible choice to watch your child.
