I worked in residential with special needs adults. I interviewed with a Mother and DDS service coordinator to provide mother with respite for special needs daughter. It was a couple nights a week. After a couple years I took a Teaching Assistant position for health insurance in North Andover, K-5. When her mother's cancer returned and was terminal I agreed to take legal guardianship. We had her moved closer to me to make things easier. I was her co-guardian with her Uncle. After 18 years of her being the best part of my life I lost her in August 2018. Her main diagnosis was moderate MR with a mixed seizure disorder. She also had other diagnosis that went hand in hand.
