Hi! I am a 24 and graduated in 2014 with a bachelors degree from Roger Williams University with a degree in child psychology and another in American Studies. I am currently a graduate student at Boston University. I have been babysitting since I was in high school but while I have been in college I worked at a day care in Rhode Island with newborns through 6 year old children for three years. I have the most experience with children who are between this specific age group, however I have experience with children older than this as well. I have also spent the last year interning at the Department of Children, Youth and Families in Rhode Island. During my time there, I supervised and helped care for up to three children at a time. I cherished this experience in learning and working more with different children who are suffering from Read more social/emotional disorders and their families to help create and maintain a schedule that works for them. This experience re-affirmed my love for working with children and watching them grow and succeed. I am very organized person who absolutely loves to be active and be creative. I am still a kid at heart and love to do arts and crafts and I have found that this is a great way to connect with children and allow them to be themselves. I also believe that there is no reason to be stuck inside when there is so much to do outside when the weather is beautiful. I am also very responsible and punctual. In fact, I usually end up being 10-15 minutes early to anywhere I go because I cannot stand being late. I am available on weekday evenings to baby-sit after 5, as I am currently a full-time nanny for three children during the day. I am available on week day evenings, and any time on the weekends when needed for date nights or anything else!
