When I was younger my mom always had a daycare, and I was constantly surrounded by younger kids and I have always loved it. Now I am in my finishing up my second year at Assumption College, where I am studying psychology. Throughout my college years I have mentored in several volunteer programs, all of which include working with kids. One of my programs includes working with kindergarten children and helping them out with their homework, or doing fun activities with them. My other volunteer program includes me working once a week with a child with autism. The goal of me working with this child is to help him build better, long-lasting relationships with people, as well as improve his academic performance. My last volunteer program that I participate in is known as Nativity, in which I help a child with ADHD with his homework and help him study.
