Hello! My name is Kari Brabander. I have been working with children for 8 years and have held numerous child care positions. In high school I majored in a vocational education program in early education and care and trained to be a infant/toddler/preschool teacher completing over 1,000 hours of professional development, teacher training, and childcare coursework and practicum. I have also been babysitting since I was 14 and worked at a child watch center at the YMCA where I gained experience caring for infants and multiple children at a time. In my training I worked as an assistant kindergarten teacher and assistant preschool teacher where I created weekly lesson plans and executed classroom activities.
