Hello! My name is Emmie I’m a 21 year old early education teacher and volunteer EMT. I have nine animals two of which are exotic I have a college degree in behavioral therapy and I’ve been working with children since the age of 13 when I was first a swim instructor, I’m a teacher for three amazing classrooms I work with infants-4 months old -14months old as well as I have a multi age class which is toddlers ages 15 months to 3 year olds and my final class is a preschool class ages 4-6. However I worked in an ABA autism center for two years and worked with children all the way up to middle school age. I am first aid, CPR, and BLS certified I also hold a active certificate in Registered behavioral therapist, so if you have a little one who struggles with social and emotional development Read more or just a child who need a little more one on one attention, I can promise I will become there best friend! I also hold a current Lifeguard/swim instructor certificate along with WSI (water safety instructor). I really value play based learning and trying to include any child in any task I’m completing weather it’s setting up a activity or cooking a meal I really believe children just wanna be included in your own everyday activities. I really value outside play and keeping children engaged and interested in whatever activities we may have. In both ABA work and early education i have potty trained many children along with implementing good communication and understanding with each child. I’m a huge fan of updating parents about there children through pictures or a few text throughout the day about the little one. I’m a very flexible and understanding person I’m always willing to work with any family under whatever conditions or circumstances they may been weather it’s, money,location or timing I’m always willing to find something that works.
