Hello! My name is Bernadette Coyne. I work for the Town of Carver as a Special Educator. I currently work with 6th, 7th, 8th graders. On a daily basis, I follow my students to their inclusion classrooms. When I say inclusion mean that they go to classes outside of our classroom. (EX: Science and Geography) They are supported in others classes for ELA and Math which would be my classroom. I also work with adults with disabilities. My adults are challenging in a different way then my students. I love working in both of these fields. I am at this time, earning my Master Degree in Special Ed. I don't think these jobs are for everyone you need to have a lot of patience and understand, definitely LOVE. We were from out of town and I needed a sitter to watch my young child while I attended an event. As you can image, I was nervous about hiring a stranger to watch my child. I am glad I found Bernadette who was just wonderful. She was responsive in the interview process as well as during the lead up to the event. My child had a great time with Bernadette and I felt comfortable knowing she was in good hands. I will 100% hire Bernadette again if we ever travel back to the area.
