Growing up, I have helped raise my family members from bottle feeding, to changing diapers, and babysitting them in general when their parents have gone to work. I went to school for a major in psychology, a minor in education, and a social work certificate. I am currently studying for my masters in psychology. I have worked with kids as a paraprofessional aide, tutor, support teacher, and assistant teacher with students of various backgrounds for the past 4 years. I have an updated PQ registry and have taken online EEC courses to further my knowledge of working with kids. I really enjoy working with children, especially the younger ones as I get to be apart of their growing development. I love seeing their creativity show in their activities or just even in their stories when they have the ability to speak. They’re always looking forward to learning more about the Read more world. Using what I learned from school, I helped children progress into their multiple intelligences and support them through any troubles they might have whether it is understanding their emotions or to find ways how to distress when frustrated. I am very open-minded and always looking forward to gaining more experience. I love playing games and staying positive since we don’t need more negativity in this world.
