Hello families! For the past two years, I worked as a high school art teacher—a role I truly loved. However, I found myself missing the close, individualized connections that come from working with younger children during their early developmental years. I'm now thoughtfully exploring opportunities to return to nannying, looking for a family where I can build a meaningful and lasting connection. I bring over 12 years of childcare experience, beginning at age 13 as a camp counselor for 3–6-year-olds. From there, I became the go-to babysitter for my teachers and neighbors, and eventually transitioned into professional nannying with a strong focus on early childhood development. Most recently, I served as an in-home preschool teacher and nanny to a brilliant five-year-old. Our days were filled with learning—reading, writing, math, science, and practicing emotional intelligence and healthy communication. I took a screen-free, play-based approach whenever possible, always emphasizing outdoor activity and Read more creativity. With a background in design, I approach caregiving with a creative mindset, bringing imagination and flexibility to both play and problem-solving. I’m CPR and First Aid certified and have experience supporting children with special needs, food allergies, busy family schedules, and parents navigating illness. I show up each day with energy, thoughtfulness, and a sincere desire to have a positive impact on the lives of the children I care for.
