Hi! I am a college student pursuing a bachelor of science in human services. Due to my love and passion for working with people, in the future, I plan on being a licensed certified social worker. I am the oldest sibling in my family, and so I started babysitting at age twelve. I have a lot of personal and professional experiences working with children of all ages ranging from newborns to teenagers. Experiences I had with children include being an infant/toddler teacher, babysitter, and working in a Maternity Unit. Currently, I teach children ages seven and below about Jesus in my church. One of my favorite activities to do with children is to play games, especially ones that foster their imagination and creativity. I also love doing arts and crafts with children and seeing the excitement on their faces when they are ready to share the wonderful art pieces they Read more created. Every child is unique and has their personality, so my warm, caring and patient demeanor encourages children to feel a sense of trust and allows them to feel confident when talking to me. I am excited and truly looking forward to working with the children I will meet.
