Meet Sarah

Hi! I'm Sarah, a nineteen year old college student. I am home for the summer, and I am thrilled to offer my babysitting services to your family! As the daughter of a Montessori preschool director, I have grown up learning how to care for children, and how to best support their needs. In addition to assisting in the preschool setting for most of my life, I've worked in babysitting for a variety of families over the past five years (children ages 2-12). I continue to take great pride in prioritizing safety, comfort, and good communication while I work with families, ensuring a professional yet warm presence for the children which I care for. I am committed to tailoring my care to best adapt to your family's routines, needs, and preferences, so that I may be of minimal interruption to your child's natural home environment. Whether it be through interactive play (with toys, music, dancing, etc.), assistance with homework, meal preparation/cleanup, bedtime preparations, and more, my approach ensures that I can still promote structure and predictability to your child's day in an enjoyable manner. I will always uphold a kind and patient demeanor so that I can build a strong, positive relationship with your child. This is key to me! I additionally understand the importance of trust in a caregiver - I am 100% committed to being punctual and dependable. Through keeping open lines of communication with parents, I can provide regular updates and will be responsive to any special instructions or concerns you may have. Ensuring ease for both the child and the parents is my priority. When I am not babysitting, I enjoy practicing all styles of dance, cooking new recipes, hiking, and learning all about teeth (I'm hoping to become a dentist!), and I'm always searching for ways to enrich my childcare skills. I am highly passionate about making a difference in children's lives - even in one visit - and I would be very grateful to be part of your family's support system.
