Why I Love Being a Sitter: I truly love being a sitter because working with children brings so much joy and purpose into my life. Every child has their own unique personality, curiosity, and way of seeing the world, and I love being part of that journey, whether it’s helping them learn something new, sparking their creativity through play, or simply being a comforting presence when they need it. I also find great meaning in giving parents peace of mind, knowing their little ones are safe, happy, and cared for. Experience: I’ve had the privilege of gaining hands-on experience with children in a variety of settings. I co-taught a kindergarten class, where I supported lesson activities, helped students learn in a structured environment, and built meaningful connections with them every day. My responsibilities included reading stories, playing games, watching shows, taking them to the park, and keeping them entertained — especially when they were missing their moms and needed a comforting, patient presence. In addition to childcare, I also have experience caring for seniors, where I maintained daily schedules, provided attentive support, and ensured their needs were consistently met. This experience taught me patience, reliability, and how to anticipate and respond to others’ needs, skills that easily transfer to caring for children.
