Greetings! I love kids, and have worked with them for a living for most of my life-- as an elementary teacher, preschool teacher of 4 and 5 year olds, toy-making teacher, and more recently as a reading tutor, ESL tutor, and Suzuki violin teacher. I have a M.Ed. in Reading Education and a B.A. in English, summa cum laude; I'm also certified to teach Suzuki Violin Books 1 & 2. I love my tutoring work, and would like to continue doing it, but I'd also like a part time as a virtual babysitter. During the beginning of the pandemic, I started volunteering with my ESL clients' kids online, reading them stories or, for older kids, having conversations, using conversation cards as a prompt.
