I have been babysitting children in my neighborhood since I was twelve years old. The families I cared for had from one to four children at a time, with friends of the children always coming by to visit. Having to care for many children at once has taught me to stay on my toes, have plenty of activities to occupy the attention of the children, and provide a safe and fun envrionment. For two years I also spent time working at a women's gym in their day care center. There I would greet families and care for children who frequented the gym on a daily basis. This was a great experience and I enjoyed being able to get to know and care for the families who were members at the gym. Getting to know the families at the gym also opened up more babysitting opportunities for me in the future.
