Hello! My name is Lauren, and I am a warm, energetic, compassionate, and dedicated caregiver with a genuine passion for helping children learn, grow, and thrive. I graduated from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles with a bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Sciences and a minor in Dance and Liberal Arts. I am also pursuing graduate studies in Occupational Therapy. Professionally, I have worked as both a Specialized Paraprofessional and a Behavioral Therapist specializing in working with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Through these roles, I have gained valuable experience supporting children with diverse developmental, behavioral, emotional, and educational needs. My work has strengthened my ability to provide individualized care, encourage positive behaviors, support communication and social development, and create structured, nurturing environments where children feel safe, understood, and empowered. I am deeply committed to protecting each child’s physical and emotional well-being, recognizing their unique strengths, affirming their Read more abilities, and promoting dignity, independence, and confidence in every interaction. I have extensive babysitting and nannying experience with children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers, including children with special needs. Outside of childcare, dance has been a lifelong passion of mine since the age of three. My background as a professional dancer has taught me creativity, discipline, dedication, patience, and perseverance—qualities I love incorporating into my work with children through movement, play, and creative expression. I pride myself on being dependable, attentive, patient, enthusiastic, and adaptable. Whether assisting with daily routines, encouraging developmental milestones, providing behavioral and emotional support, or creating fun and meaningful learning experiences, I strive to make every child feel supported, celebrated, and capable. Above all, I believe caring for children is more than a responsibility—it is a privilege. Every child deserves to feel safe, loved, respected, and encouraged to embrace what makes them unique. My goal is not simply to provide exceptional childcare, but to build meaningful, trusting relationships with both children and their families. I look forward to the opportunity to bring my experience, enthusiasm, and genuine love for children into your home and become a positive, dependable part of your family’s life!
