Meet Chelsie

I've been taking care of infants, toddlers, children and pre-teens for ten years. I sit regularly for two families whom I have known since before their kids were even born. I continue to sit for them as the eldest child reaches 10 years old this year (can't believe it myself!). My sitting style is one away from screens, with real-life imaginative play and exercise. From tag and swimming on fine summer days, to hide-and-seek or coloring on rainy inside days, I never just use screens as a sitting substitute. I'm a responsible caregiver, a friend with the right amount of authoritative structure to keep everything (and everyone) in order. I will support your child in every way they need, be it changing diapers to helping with homework. I am a recent UMass '15 graduate starting up my own media organization focusing on art and activism in the Pioneer Valley and Read more beyond. Needless to say, this is a labor of love that doesn't pay my student loans (yet).
