Hello! I am looking for a job as a babysitter/nanny. I am a kind, intuitive, creative, and upbeat 35 year old woman, with a love of nature and a playful spirit. I have been working with children for most of my life, starting in my preteen years, and find childcare and working with families extremely rewarding and fulfilling work. More recently I worked as a behavioral therapist for neurodiverse children and young adults through an ABA behavioral services company which is very heart centered. I stayed at this job for four years, and though it was very challenging work, I loved working in homes with families and my clients. Before that, I worked in the movie industry and then as a working artist. My childcare experience history ranges widely, and has spanned over 20 years. I’ve had three jobs through sitter city, and the last nanny job I had through Read more the site was from 2009-2010, where I nannied for two boys ages 9 and 10 for ten months. Part of that job included light housekeeping, scheduling, and much more. Some of my responsibilities included driving kids to the swimming pool, sports practice, and doctors’ appointments. I made dinner, helped with homework, and put them to bed. I’ve also had many other jobs working with children, including working as a nurse at a camp, as a mentor at a nature based summer program, and as an assistant teacher for earth based skills programming at schools. Recently my husband and I just moved to Western Massachusetts from California, and I am looking for work as we are getting settled in this new area and this new chapter of our lives. I deeply understand how important and sensitive it is to come into a family and care for children, and am committed to creating a safe and fun environment! I am professional, mature, and punctual.
