Hi! I want to be your babysitter! I have been babysitting virtually since I stopped being babysat myself. During middle and high school I took care of the same two kids (a girl and her younger brother) every Saturday night, and when I went off to college I cared for them during breaks. When I finished undergrad in 2010 (with degrees in Spanish and African Studies, from Smith College) and moved back home to Cambridge I began working in a local preschool. I stayed there for three years, during which time I earned my teaching certification. I'm currently a part-time nanny for a sweet toddler (in addition to my cooking job). I've been with him and his family since he was six months old, and it's been incredible. I have loved watching him turn from a baby into a kid! I'm starting nursing school in May, at which point I'll Read more be quitting my cooking job. I'm planning to continue nannying and babysitting as my schedule allows. I'm CPR certified, and I have experience with babies as young as 4 weeks and as old as twelve. I drive a super safe car (Subaru Impreza) and am comfortable providing kid and baby transportation.
