Hi! I’m Anna, I’m 28 years old and I live in Astoria. I moved to NYC from Boston, where I grew up, last summer. I am starting grad school for social work this fall and am looking for a part-time babysitting job for the summer, starting in mid-June and going through mid-August. My summer schedule is very flexible. I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old and have babysat children from ages 3 to 12. I was a camp counselor for three summers in high school as well. I have a great deal of experience working with kids ages 4-12, but I also bring some experience with younger children (I do tend to be more comfortable babysitting children over age 3, however). I babysat two girls (ages 8 and 10) weekly for two full years in high school, and cared for their dog as well. Their mother recommended Read more me to many of her friends. I have been a go-to babysitter for several other families over the years as well. I have also been told by an experienced teacher with whom I was a camp counselor that I have a talent for working with children. Lastly, I have two nephews (ages 4 and 7) who live in NYC who I absolutely love playing with! I love to play games and be silly with kids, but I am also good at sticking to rules and making sure things don't get out of hand. I am very good at putting kids to sleep and always make them feel as comfortable as possible, because I remember missing my parents a lot when I was young and had babysitters. I also always clean up and do dishes after I babysit to make sure everything is as it was before I came. I have a true passion for working with children! Please contact me with any questions.
