I landed my first mother's helper position in middle school, and went on to take on many babysitting and Nanny jobs throughout high school, including caring for my next door neighbor's toddler and newborn, which led to a position assisting in her home-based based family daycare. From there, I held positions such as: Director & teacher of an elementary after school program, a 'Crisis Intervention Counselor' to foster care kids and teens, which involved regular weekly scheduled visits with adolescents at their foster homes, schools, therapists & doctor's offices, driving them to and from various appointments and after school activities, as well as providing 24/7, on-call crisis "de-escalation", intervention counseling, non violent restraint & training, safety monitoring, and mediation. I've also worked as an art and drama camp teacher, directed a small, -5 child playgroup, and was a Nanny for newborns-teens. I have experience with multiple multiples, including 3 year old twins, one of whom had Cerebral Palsy, and have worked with a wide variety of physical, emotional, social & behavioral challenges, including ADD/ADHD, BI POLAR, DEPRESSION, ANXIETY, AUTISM SPECTRUM, PTSD, ANGER MANAGEMENT, SELF HARM, EATING DISORDERS, LEARNING DISABILITIES, SPEECH IMPEDIMENTS,ETC.
