My name is Connor and I just graduated from Grad School at Bridgewater State University as a Child Psychotherapist. I am hoping to find a family that is looking for a reliable, loving nanny/childcare provider through the summer, either part-time or full-time. I am also available for overnights. A little bit about myself: From a very early age, I knew that I wanted to work with children so at the age of 12 I went to get certified to babysit and have been doing so ever since. I have always been very active in sports, being a competitive gymnast for many years while also playing both school and club soccer from age 4 through my junior year in college. As mentioned, I just graduated on May 10th from the Graduate Program at BSU, where I completed an internship at a residential program where I was responsible for group therapy and Read more individual therapy for 5-18 year-old children. These children have a history of trauma and mental illness diagnoses. I also babysit for a family that I have been working with for four years that I began with when I was previously on Care.com. This family has three boys, a 3-year-old, 7-year-old and an 11-year-old. I have experience babysitting children from the age of six weeks to teens, multiples and children with special needs. All through my undergrad I was a Nanny 3 days a week to an 8 month-old and an 18 month-old, but sadly had to stop when they were 3 and 4 because I entered grad school. I would perform all daily activities with them, take them to the zoo, walks to the park, meal preparation, help in the home, etc. And during my summers I would babysit full-time for a family with a 3 month-old and a 4 year-old. Being a student in Clinical Psychology and having taken numerous courses in child development, I understand the importance of interacting and reading to children and that is something that I love to do. I am currently CPR and First Aid Certified, CPI Certified, and TCI Certified. I am also very comfortable with all pets, as I have grown up with all sorts of animals, from hermit crabs, to hamsters and up to large dogs. I have a reliable vehicle and have been driving for over 9 years with a clean driving record.
