Hello! I started babysitting as a teenager and found it to be something that came naturally to me and that I genuinely enjoyed. I have yet to take a break from this deeply fulfilling work and am now working on my BA in Children's Psych/Education at Mount Holyoke College. I have been heavily involved in childcare through various avenues for the past decade, including my extensive work for a youth-focused nonprofit (called CISV). I have traveled internationally as the official temporary guardian with delegations of 4-6 children and preteens for month long programs, singularly responsible for their care and physical, mental, and emotional well-being and also been the administrative staff at camps with 60 participants. To participate in these programs, I have passed rigorous application and interview processes and undergone intensive childcare training. I can engage your children creatively by reading out loud together, drawing, and using our imaginations. I would love to spend time outdoors playing in the backyard, taking walks around the neighborhood, or even going to a nearby neighborhood park. I can help school-aged children with their homework. I am skilled with infants, toddlers and children of any age. I am willing to transport children to and from daycare or school and also to help run errands and assist with housekeeping.
