Hi! I’m Emily from Sudbury entering Northeastern University. I also have my drivers license. I currently babysit a 1st and 3rd grader after the mom reached out after I taught her son and many other young children at my free coding classes. I love playing with children and have a lot of experience with them from tutoring children at a homeless shelter, working at Kumon where I teach one-on-one kindergartners how to read and write numbers. At the shelter, I was also a teen helper, meaning I play with the children so the parents can rest. I would lead arts and crafts, play with bubbles and games with the kids, and read stories to them. From these jobs with young children, I learned how to take care of children and realized my love for them.
