Hello, I have been a teacher for 11 years. I have spent summers while in college as a nanny and babysat children since I was 12 years old. I have many children in my life and love spending time with them. I'm very active and enjoy being outside. I think kids need more time to play and explore. However, I'm not opposed to rainy afternoons with blanket forts and making cookies. I use most opportunities to teach kids about the world around them. I love mornings at the beach or pool side working off all our energy, afternoon pinics and hikes. I'm very organized and have no problem starting dinner, throwing in a load or laundry or unloading the dishwasher. I also think if you make it fun, the kids will join in too! I'm pretty flexible with my summer schedule. I'm open to Saturdays as well as the occasional Read more evenings. I own my own car and can use it to transport children to activities and adventures!
