I’ve had a passion for working with children from a young age and began babysitting at 13 years old after earning my babysitting certification, watching my family friend's children. Since then, I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for children of many different ages and settings within childcare. I’ve volunteered at my church as a sunday school helper, where I supervised and engaged children ages 2–6, through fun games, sing-alongs and lessons. At 15, I started working at my town's sport center as a youth sports coach, teaching children ages 18 months to 8 years old skill for all kinds of sports like soccer and T-ball. In addition, I work there also as a birthday party facilitator and summer camp counselor, caring for children ages 5–14. These roles have helped me develop strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills while managing large and small groups of children and keeping activities fun and flexible. Despite being in college, on my breaks I want to work and what better way than taking care of children as I remember how much I enjoyed an sitter when I was a child.
