I began babysitting at age 10, when my neighbor accidentally had a baby and I was the easiest solution. From this I learned how to feed, change, and bath an infant, which came in handy in later babysitting experiences. Since then, I've been the on-call babysitter to multiple families, caring for children between 0 and 12 years of age. I nannied/babysat one family in particular for 4 years, beginning when their children were 6 months, 2 years, and 4 years old. Needless to say, I've developed a wonderful relationship with both parents and children - we still call and visit whenever possible. Aside from babysitting, I've worked in several institutions - a child and adolescent mental health care unit, and an orphanage in Cuzco, Peru. In both situations I spent time caring for disabled children (ages 2 - 16) - an enriching and remarkable experience. I currently attend Brandeis University Read more and am in my sophomore year, majoring in Economics. I love my school, and I love my job on campus (tutoring), but am looking for a fun way to make a bit of extra money!
