I have had the opportunity to test and improve my skills as an Elementary English Teacher in various settings, from language institutes, private bilingual schools, to public and regular private schools. As well as, developing my caregiving skills by working as a recreational leader for children (from 2-5 years), and in Early Childhood Education centers with ages 2 months up to 5 years. I am both CPR/AED/First Aid certified (including Infant CPR) and also have my EEC (Early Childhood Education) certification. I've worked as an Infant/Toddler Teacher in daycares on a full-time basis. At that job I created a monthly infant-centered curriculum where I provided the group of infants with enjoyable activities that helped them in the current development of their gross-motor, fine motor, language, and social skills. Working in an infant room had been one of the best work experiences I've had. To be able to be a part Read more of the nurturing, development, and growth of an infant to a toddler is amazing. The advances they make in socio-emotional growth, language, and their fine and gross motor skills are worth every effort. Being able to provide an extension of the nurturing and care that the parents give their children is an amazing and rewarding opportunity. It was an opportunity given that I wouldn't change. However, that experience was overshadowed by the opportunity I received to do the same job with higher rewards for both the kids and myself as a full-time nanny. Being able to provide more of my attention to fewer kids in a more consistent manner made the developments and milestones they reached and surpassed that much rewarding. And I was able to personalize and adjust the activities to each kid, something that wasn't possible in a classroom of 8+ kids. I worked full-time as a nanny, caregiver, and Spanish teacher for two amazing now 6-year-old twin girls. I started with them when they were only 3 months old and the position ended as they moved on to kindergarten. After this, I worked with a then 6 month old and 3-year-old for a year . Followed by my current position with twin infants, now toddlers. If I can provide you with any further information on my background and qualifications, please let me know. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for your consideration. Sincerely, Darilys M.
