Hello there! I'm looking to look after kids for a summer job, as well as potentially into the school year as well. I just graduated high school in the top of my class, and now going onto college :) I have a passion for teaching children, as well as taking care of them... so I'm a 2-in-1 tutor and sitter! I'm experienced with Special Education. I'm working in order to pay for my tuition! Rates are flexible. I am available mornings till night starting May 27th all throughout the summer. Typically regularly unavailable Sundays, unless on occasion then it's OKAY. I DON'T smoke/vape, drink, take drugs, or do any other related stuff. I own a car and I'm insured. I hope you find everything else you need to know about me below Prior Experience: I've previously worked alongside teachers in classrooms of students (elementary, middle-school, high-school) in the Special Education Read more Departments, and so I know how to clean, teach, watch over, play with, and navigate a room full of kids pretty well. I also have experience volunteering to tutor children. Special Education/Different Needs: I'm able to handle most children with special/different needs. I'm very thoughtful and work around their way of learning in order to teach them, as well as take care of them. I am slightly conversational in American Sign Language. Adult Skills: I have basic adult skills like cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping (I can do this well!), errand-running, laundry. I'm good at preparing Asian and American foods/snacks. I have NO dietary restrictions/allergies. I can DRIVE (legally) and I own a CAR!!!!! I can pick-up/drop-off your kid to school/sports no problem. Engaging with your Child: I have lots of creative talents/skills that can help me engage with your kid... I paint/draw, crochet, play piano/guitar, sing... I'm also very active as I am a runner, so I can keep up with their energy. I have lots of children-friendly activities I can bring/teach upon request. I also have a lot of general knowledge and interest in teaching, so I can help them learn just about anything. Education Background: I just graduated from high-school as of May 2024 in the top 1% of my class, had leadership positions in Science/Math/Cultural clubs, and 150+ volunteer hours (yeah i'm cool like that), 30+ hours of which was tutoring children. I'm currently now a college student.
