I am a mother of three successful adult married children and grandmother of two children and two more expcted this year. I have been married once for 40 years. I am a retired middle school and high school math teacher, as well as a math coordinator for the Plymouth Public Schools for my last five years of working. I started babysitting my four younger sisters at an early age and continued babysitting and working with children throughout my life. I am an active 66 year old senior and I provide emergency child cater for my grandchildren who live in the Greater Boston area. I have volunteered for the past two years as a Big Brother Big Sister volunteer and am matched with a 9 year old Little Sister. I enjoy playing games, doing puzzles, arts and crafts, and playing with children. I am not comfortable around pets/animals. I have a calm and caring disposition and believe in positive discipline strategies and model respectful behaviors. I am not interested in a full time position. I would be interested in night or afternoon babysitting or filling in when available when needed. I do have a reliable new car for drop offs or pickups. I live in Yarmouth Port and am only interested in Mid-Cape employment. My rate starts at $15 depending on the number of children and family situation.
